Pierce Brosnan is the Hollywood heartthrob who seems to have stopped aging. The actor strictly maintains that he is an advocate for aging naturally and has never undergone any procedures to reverse the effect aging has on the human body.

Pierce Brosnan is an actor who has become known for many roles over the years. However, it is especially his role as James Bond that has made him the superstar he is today.

Pierce was born and raised in Ireland. He started working in the film and theater scene in the UK at an early age. However, it was in the USA that the big breakthrough came in 1982 when he starred in the TV series “Remington Steele.”

Since then, he has taken on numerous roles over the years, although his time as Agent 007 has left the deepest mark.

Pierce Brosnan has been married twice in his life. He married his first wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1980, and together they had a son named Sean (born 1983). Cassandra had two children from a previous marriage, whom Pierce adopted after their father’s death. Unfortunately, Cassandra passed away in 1991 due to ovarian cancer.

“When your partner gets cancer, then life changes. Your timetable and reference for your normal routines and the way you view life, all this changes. Because you’re dealing with death. You’re dealing with the possibility of death and dying. And it was that way through the chemotherapy, through the first-look operation, the second look, the third look, the fourth look, the fifth look. Cassie was very positive about life. I mean, she had the most amazing energy and outlook on life. It was and is a terrible loss, and I see it reflected, from time to time, in my children,” Brosnan said.

However, in 1994, in Mexico, things began to change. It was there and then that Keely Shaye Smith (now Brosnan) entered his life.

Keely encouraged Pierce to mourn his late wife and take his time with it. She never intended for them to enter into a relationship right away.

In 2001, Pierce and Keely decided to tie the knot; they got married on the fourth of August in Ireland. Together, they have two children, Dylan and Paris.

The Hollywood heartthrob has previously been named the world’s sexiest man by People magazine. And it’s not surprising given how good he looks. But despite the commonality of various cosmetic procedures among Hollywood celebrities, it’s not for Brosnan.

“I have not undergone any plastic surgery in any form. No implants. And my hair is not dyed,” the star has said in an interview with People.

On the contrary, he believes that aging should be celebrated.

“There’s so much concern and attention reversing the clock, on fighting age with potions and lotions and whatever else. But signs of ageing are to be celebrated,” said.

Pierce Brosnan has gone through several tragedies in his life. In addition to losing his first wife to ovarian cancer in 1991, he also lost his adopted daughter to the same disease in 2013. It has probably given him a different perspective on life and aging.

“One has to realise its a gift – a gift that some are not lucky enough to receive,” he shared.

The star’s trick to aging happily In a previous interview, Pierce Brosnan shared his trick for aging as gracefully as he does. The trick seems to be to have a positive outlook on life.

“Oh, just love and work. Work and love. That’s what it’s all about. Be grateful for having a partnership, or a friendship, or some friends. And just keep on with life. I don’t know any other way.”
