Fans are still wondering where Kate Middleton is, as she hasn’t been pictured in weeks following abdominal surgery.
Prince William caused further concern last month when he withdrew from a public engagement at the last minute for an undisclosed personal matter.
Now, he’s made his first public appearance since the stir, but Prince William did so without Kate, which is only fueling rumors and theories about what’s happened to the British duchess.

Prince William resumed his public duties on Thursday, February 29th, paying a visit to The Western Marble Arch Synagogue in London. During his presence, the 41-year-old Prince of Wales engaged with Holocaust Educational Trust ambassadors and met Holocaust survivor Renee Salt.
Addressing the congregation, Prince William voiced his concerns about the surge of antisemitism, emphasizing, “antisemitism has no place in our society,” echoing the sentiments is shared by both him and his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, despite her absence. He didn’t, however, given any further updates on her health.
The palace was pressured into releasing an official statement concerning Kate’s well-being earlier this week after online rumors went rampant. While they didn’t disclose details of her health issues, the palace said Kate is fine.
“Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, continues to be doing well,” Buckingham Palace said.
Before that, a palace insider echoed the same sentiment, saying, “It’s total nonsense. No attempt was made by that journalist to fact-check anything that she said with anyone in the household. It’s fundamentally, totally made-up, and I’ll use polite English here: it’s absolutely not the case.”
Weeks have passed since reports surfaced regarding Middleton’s abdominal surgery last month, prompting her temporary withdrawal from royal duties. Amid her absence speculation has arisen, including a peculiar fan theory suggesting that the Duchess may be in a coma or experiencing poor health post-treatment.
Why Some Fans Believe Kate Is In A Coma
The bizarre coma conspiracy theory gained traction particularly after Spanish journalist Concha Calleja made assertions on a TV program regarding the Princess of Wales’ well-being, claiming her life was “in great danger” and medical professionals had induced a coma for her rescue.
The concern deepened when Prince William withdrew from a significant public engagement due to an undisclosed “personal matter” on Tuesday. But with William back to royal duties, hopefully it’s a signal that all is well with his wife, and his family, in general.
While Kate’s health may be getting back on track, the royals are facing another medical crisis – King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, revealed earlier this year.
“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the palace said.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible,” they continued. “His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”
The King’s medical treatment plan is currently undisclosed.
