‘Law & Order: SVU’ alum Kelli Giddish announces son’s birth and reveals his charming name

Kelli Giddish, from Law & Order SVU, has had her third child, a baby boy!

The actress, who played Amanda Rollins on Law & Order: SVU for more than ten years, shared the wonderful news with fans on Thursday.

“My husband and I welcomed Oldie Richards on June 20th and we are so in love and so very grateful,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of herself, her husband Beau Richards, and Oldie, their first child together.

“Oldie — you’ve brought immeasurable JOY to me and your daddy and your two brothers (and your grandparents and aunts and uncles!). You wake up smiling and the light you bring to each moment is truly incredible.”

While devoted viewers will have to wait a little longer to learn about Amanda Rollins’ baby, many are happy for Giddish because her pregnancy coincides with that of actress character on the police procedural.

“What a little cutie! Congratulations 😍 I love that all three pregnancies were written into SVU too – A very sweet way to immortalize those special moments in your life 😍” a fan pointed out.

“He is absolutely adorable! Congratulations to you and your family! 🩵 wishing you and your family nothing but love and happiness. Thank you for sharing,” one fan wrote.

“He’s beautiful, what a precious photo of you three. ❤️” another person commented.

Along with her two younger sons, Charlie, 4, and Ludo, 7, Giddish also has two elder sons with her ex-husband Lawrence Faulborn.
